EPIPHANY

As I repose on my bed, I blankly stare at the boring, plain ceiling above my body, and without rhyme or reason, just watch the fan spin around. It’s a routine for me to think of the things that have happened in the past and ponder about what might happen in years to come before I fall asleep into the wonderland of my unrealistic dreams. This has become part of my quotidian existence. At times, I unconsciously bring these thoughts in my sleep, and the aftermath leaves me sleepy and tired throughout the next day.

It’s amazing how I can notice things very sensitively at night when I space out, that sometimes I feel as if I can see small transparent blotches of debris on the outer shell of my eyes. Sometimes I think the things I analyze has somehow taught me to see the world in different perspectives. I wouldn't have realized all this if I hadn't had so many things to think about, and by that I mean, the predicaments I've experienced.
